Overall, it was fine. What was listed is mostly what we got, so I can’t really complain, but it didn’t exactly wow me either.

We booked a tour through withlocals and had a great time. Our guide was really good — he knew so much about the history, little side streets, and random spots we definitely wouldn’t have found on our own. It didn’t feel like one of those big group tours at all, which I liked because… yeah, it just felt more natural. We asked a ton of questions and he answered everything really easily. I’d definitely use it again.

Our Withlocals guide was right on time, which I appreciated more than I expected. The meeting spot was in a busy area, so we were slightly worried about finding him, but he was already there waiting and even sent us a message. I weirdly remember there was a guy nearby balancing a huge stack of bread crates, and somehow our guide was still easy to spot. No stress, no awkward waiting around. The tour got going smoothly and felt really relaxed from the start. I’d definitely book again.

We booked a local guide with our two kids and it went prtty well. Our guide was really patient, slowed things down when we needed, and found easy spots to stop so the kids didn’t get too tired. Not everythng was perfectly smooth, but it felt safe and very kid friendly overall. I’d use withlocals again.

But our guide spoke really good English! Not absolutely perfect, but that actually made it feel more real and relaxed, if anything. He was also super easy to chat with and joke around with, which made the whole experience feel way more comfortable. By the end, I was basically wondering why I had stressed about it at all. Such a lovely tour, and I’d definitely use Withlocals again.

We had a really nice time trying different local bites, and our guide was friendly and easy to chat with. I always notice the rhythm of tours like this, and most of the stops had a good pattern to them, a little background, some tasting, then enough time to take it in. One stop did feel a bit rushed compared to the others, but overall we enjoyed the experience and found some great spots we probably wouldn’t have tried on our own.

Getting around was so easy and stress-free, lol. Didn’t have to overthink anything, which made the whole experience way more chill tbh...

I kind of bounced around between a few options for a while, prices, times, what was included, then back to the photos again, but that’s more just how I make decisions. The site itself was clear enough, and checkout/payment went through without any issues. Overall, a good experience.

I had an issue with my booking and ended up reaching out to customer support. They did get back to me eventually, but it took a lot longer than I expected, and I had to explain the same problem twice, which was frustrating. It did get sorted in the end, so there’s that, but in the moment it felt stressful and not super helpful. I just expected a bit better, tbh...

our guide took us to these tiny little food spots we never would’ve found on our own. the stories along the way made it feel really personal and not touristy at all. i’d definitely book it again.

Felt like I actually learned the real culture. Not just the touristy stuff. More local. More honest. Really enjoyed that.

Cancelling was straightforward, so that part was fine. The refund just took longer than I was expecting, though it did seem like it was going to come through eventually. Overall, not a huge issue, but I probably would’ve liked it to be a little faster

Our guide asked what we were into and then totally adjusted the walk around that, which was really nice. It felt super personal and made the whole experience way more enjoyable.

Not gonna lie, I had to change the time last minute and the host was totally cool about it. Really appreciated how easygoing and understanding they were.
